All wood is kiln-dried for dimensional stability allowing for the best overall finished product. Precision milled to the proper width and trimmed to length for your truck assures you this BedWood® set will fit perfectly. Each board is then chamfered on both sides. This not only helps you achieve a uniformed thickness of finish but also lays better across your cross members. After getting our proprietary groove and going through our 3-stage sanding process the BedWood® is glass smooth, ready for finish.

Bed Strips
Bed Strips are designed to fit into the grooves of the BedWood®, bolting in between the boards, securing your boards to the truck bed. Our 100% USA made bed strips will complete any BedWood® set. With multiple finishes available, we guarantee that you will discover precisely what you are searching for.
Unpunched Polished Stainless Steel Bed Strips – Roll Formed out of a 430 BA Magnetic Stainless Steel. These bed strips are un-punched and perfect for custom applications where you want that original appearance but need to make your own holes. Each Strip is 1 ½” wide and cut to the proper length for your Each Strip is 1 1/2″ wide and cut to the proper length for your truck.
Polished Stainless Steel Hidden Fastener Bed Strips – These show quality bed strips are roll formed out of a 430 BA Magnetic Stainless Steel and uses a completely hidden fastening system. Special “T-Bolts” slide into the groove on the underside of the bed strip to adjust to any bolt location. Each strip is 1 ½” wide and cut to the proper length for your truck. Includes the correct number of 1 ¼” long hidden fasteners for your truck.

Special “T-Bolts” slide into the groove on the underside of the bed strip to adjust to any bolt location. Each strip is 1 ½” wide and cut to the proper length for your truck. Includes the correct number of 1 ¼” long hidden fasteners for your truck.
Bolt Kit
We package and kit your fasteners allowing you to receive the hardware you need to complete your specific project. Bolt kits are put together with your build in mind, with a few different options to match your BedWood® and Bed Strips.
Plain Steel (Zinc) or Polished Stainless Steel Bed Strip Bolt Kit – The Bed Strip Bolt Kits are designed to fit into the square holes on your bed strips. They go through the bolt holes, between the wood and attach to the cross-member of your truck. These bolts have a smooth, rounded head and a square shoulder to fit into a square hole. this kit includes the appropriate size and quantity of bolts, washers and nuts for your specific application. They are offered in zinc coated mild steel or polished stainless steel.
Plain Steel (Zinc) or Polished Stainless Steel Bed To Frame Mounting Bolt Kit- The Bed-to-Frame Mounting Bolts are designed to fit in the recessed holes in your BedWood® that bolt the wood to the bed. In this kit you will receive carriage bolts, which have a smooth, rounded head and a square shoulder to fit into a square hole. These kits will include the appropriate size and quantity of bolts, washers, and nuts for your specific application. They are offered in zinc coated mild steel or polished stainless steel.
Plain Steel (Zinc) or Polished Stainless Steel Perimeter Bolt Kit – The Perimeter Bolts are meant to bolt down your bed sides, inner fenders (if you have them) and the entire perimeter of the body panels to your BedWood®. These bolts have a rounded head and a square shoulder to fit into a square hole. This kit includes the appropriate size and quantity of bolts, washers and nuts for your specific application. They are offered in zinc coated mild steel or polished stainless steel.

Once you’ve chosen your favorite wood for your project, the next step is deciding what kind of truck bed wood stain you’d like to use to seal and protect your investment. Just like bare sheet metal, your BedWood® must be protected from the elements. In the case of your truck’s wooden bed floor this is to prevent moisture from soaking into the wood and causing warping, discoloration, and rot. Not a finish expert? No Problem, we are! – Bed Wood is the only manufacturer that offers pre-finishing on all our wooden bed floor products.
Just like our strategy of sustainably sourced wood, we’re environmentally conscious when it comes to our wood finishes. As the name implies, both our HydroSatin™ and HydroShine™ wood sealers and finishes are water-based and environmentally friendly, using a proprietary formulation of penetrating exterior wood sealer that incorporates biocides, fungicides, and UV protectant to ensure long-lasting protection and a beautiful finish for your BedWood®. Both products are specially designed to seal and protect your BedWood® while accentuating the grain and your wood’s natural beauty.
