This item is a stainless steel catback exhaust for the Audi R8 V10, all variants including generation 2 (see product options for all fitments). We can configure this exhaust to fit the standard (pre-facelift) V10, V10 Facelift (2012-2016) manual transmission, V10 facelift (2012-2016) Tiptronic transmission, as well as the Gen 2 (2016-2020); please select your variant carefully when ordering and enquire with us if your not certain. This signature Topgear exhaust has been given a euro style brushed finish and features a special X-Pipe design for better gas-flow and for performance. This exhaust is the big brother of our R8 V8 exhaust and is made in much the same manner with the same unique sound. The sound of this exhaust is a fantastic, high pitched F1 style which really gives the R8 the sound it deserves. The system includes valves for quiet lower speed acoustics with fantastic race sound at higher revs. If your R8 already has valves, this is plug and play to the same wiring and controllers. If not, you can use the included key fob kit to manually open and close the valves.
This exhaust has been heavily featured, discussed and credited on the R8Talk.com forum and includes a key fob kit for opening and closing the valves free of charge, although the system can simply be controlled by the OEM valve control system if you wish. We have received phenomenal feedback on this lightweight (23 KG) sports exhaust and the best place to see independent feedback on the exhaust from fellow owners is the R8Talk forum or R8Adventures facebook group. OEM tails will fit perfectly as will our aftermarket options.

Please note – the exhaust will plug and play into the original valve controller of any Audi R8 10 offered, with the exception of the 4S (2016-2019). As this version has electric valves, you must use the included key fob to control the vacuum valves on this specific model.
