The item listed is a turbo-back exhaust system with 200 cell sports cat is for the Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk 7 models. This high quality, Valvetronic system allows for an aggressive, sports sound or a milder note, switchable by a wirelessly operated key fob operation. The exhaust is essentially built with two channels, one skips the central chambered silencer (resonator) and the other passes through it in order to create two distinct sound levels. While both sound levels are louder and sportier than OE, it is best to think of the modes as “Mild Sport” and “Sport”. The in-built valves smoothly switch from one to the other, and the lightweight, powerful aftermarket system provides performance, power and torque gains. The system is designed to minimize drone and to create a pleasant driving experience while enhancing the original sound of the GTI Mk 7. The system comes with all fittings needed to fit the exhaust, as pictured. It also features carbon-fibre tailpipes.
