1964-66 A/C System – Complete

Hurricane A/C, Heat & Defrost System for 1964-1966 Chevrolet and GMC Trucks, fits in Original Dash Opening

The CAP-6610 Hurricane Series Heat Cool & Defrost Unit mounts to the firewall using existing holes in firewall. Custom mounting plates position the unit so A/C & Heater fittings pass through the original square blower motor inlet hole and seal with a custom rubber grommet. Louvers mount neatly along the bottom edge of the dash.

Control package Includes Replica Electronic Control that fits into the original factory dash opening. Electronic servo motors operate the defrost and heater valve functions. This unit also retains a majority of the glove box and leaves valuable space inside the dash for radio, CD player, gauges, amplifiers, etc..

Complete System includes a condenser/drier assembly with custom tubes that go through the core support and route neatly underneath the battery tray. A variety of compressor and mounting brackets are available to fit the popular Chevrolet V8 & 6 cylinder engines. The A/C hose kit is made with barrier style hose and o-ring style fittings.

*Compressor bracket is included for most Chevrolet engines. Please provide: Engine year, Block size/type, water pump length and belt type used so we can provide the appropriate bracket for your engine. Matching alternator & power steering brackets are available along with GM steel and billet aluminum pulleys.
