Our 1955 Ford radio is designed to look, fit and feel just like the original. Behind the dash, the radio case is only 2.5” deep, allowing room for electric wipers and air conditioning. The AM scale on the dial glass is an exact copy of the original. Hidden on the background is a smaller FM dial scale. To switch between AM and FM just quickly turn the radio off and back on again.
This radio does not have a digital display.
When the radio is powered on the dial pointer, knobs and pushbuttons all move and work like the original. Every radio comes equipped with Bluetooth® for wireless audio streaming and hands-free phone control. Other features include a 3.5mm auxiliary port to plug in any compatible device such as an MP3 player or a CD player as well as another input jack specifically designed to work with our foot control switch.
Each radio comes with a 12 ½” 12 wire harness with male and female connections for easy connection/disconnection. This harness includes power, ground, a 12-volt output wire (for options like a power antenna or amplifier remote connection), 4 speaker connections and dial lights. The radio also has 4 channel RCA outputs for an external amplifier and a subwoofer RCA output. Please see links below for more information.

- Knob and backrings are included and match the original.
- Correct chrome plated, plastic pushbuttons match the original.

- Digitally tuned AM/FM Stereo receiver provides stable, high-quality reception while keeping the original analog display.
- Sensitivity (FM S/N 30dB) typical 5 dBµ, (AM S/N 20dB) typical 29 dBµ.
- Bluetooth® 5.0 with built-in microphone for HFP
- HFP, HSP, A2DP, and AVRCP profiles are supported.
- Bluetooth® mode offers a programmable audio equalizer while streaming music.
- 3.5mm auxiliary input jack for any compatible device such as an MP3 player or a CD player (radios do not work with original, unaltered 8-track players)
- Radio is compatible with XM radio receivers using the 3.5mm input jack. (XM is not included with the radio purchase)

- Radio output: 180 Watts RMS (45W x 4 speaker channels at 4Ω, 14.4 V, 1 kHz)
- Do not use original, grounded speakers! Radio has a protective circuit that shuts down if a speaker wire is grounded or has faults.
- Speaker recommendations: 40+ watts RMS rating, 4 Ohms, SPL 88+

- Four low-level outputs + 1 subwoofer RCA output located on the back of the radio for use with an external amplifier
- Radio operates on 11.5-16 Volts DC, negative ground only! Power inverters are available for 6-volt positive ground vehicles.
- Mounting brackets with nuts for the left and right mounting bolts are included.
- Control operations include on/off, volume, tone, tuning and hidden features for balance and fader function, all from original-looking and feeling analog controls.
- Pushbuttons can save 5 FM preset stations and 5 AM preset stations.
- Pushbuttons also work with Bluetooth® functions such as play/pause, answer/hold and equalizer.
- Memory retention (presets and other user settings) with power disconnected, no need for constant power!
- LED dial lights are warm white to match the original
- Standard (Motorola) antenna jack located on the back of the radio
